Add a new coupon
Click on the “Generate coupon code” button, and the system will create a hexadecimal code (e.g., 4NGDNRM5).
- Percentage discount: A discount based on a percentage of the total.
- Fixed cart discount: A fixed discount applied to the cart.
- Fixed product discount: A fixed discount applied to specific products.
In the Coupon expiry date field, you can select a specific date or leave it blank for the coupon to never expire.
In the Usage restriction section, you can specify:
- Products: Products the coupon applies to.
- Exclude products: Products excluded from the coupon.
- Product categories: Categories the coupon applies to.
- Excluded categories: Categories excluded from the coupon.
It allows the coupon to grant free shipping for physical products, provided a free shipping method is configured in your store.
In the Usage limits section, you can set a limit on how many times the coupon can be used by each user. For guests, the billing email is used; for registered users, the user ID is used.
If checked, the coupon cannot be used in combination with other coupons in the same order.
In the Usage restriction section, you can add specific email addresses or use patterns like *@gmail.com to restrict the coupon to specific domains.
